Documentation is available in four formats:
- Files ending in
chmare MS-Windows help files for use on win32 systems. - Files ending in
pdfare in portable document format useful for offline viewing and printing. - Files ending in
.zipare single-language HTML format, viewable without a webserver. - Files ending in
warare single-language Konqueror web archives to be opened directly from the local disk.
The language of each package is indicated by the
two-letter extension preceeding the chm/pdf/zip/war.
Finally, the tools file is the contents of the
site-tools/httpd-docs-build cvs repository for use by documentation
writers wanting to build the documentation from the
httpd-2.x source tree.
